On our website, users can plan their own hiking routes free of charge. Options include choosing to walk exclusively on paved paths, selecting the shortest route, or following specific points of interest. There is also the option to plan walking routes that incorporate off-leash paths for pets.

After planning a hiking route on our website, users can download it onto their smartphones and navigate using GPS. By downloading only personalized routes, space on the smartphone can be conserved. Routes can be easily managed through the 'My Routes' tab, which displays the length of each route and the date they were created. For those interested in pre-established routes, themed hikes are also available on our website, including options to walk through the dunes, enjoy a circular hike on Texel, or explore historical sites around Wijk aan Zee.

Additionally, this app allows users to submit photos and report issues related to the hiking network. These reports are promptly integrated into the website and app, contributing to the ongoing maintenance of the hiking network.
